Dan has over 18 years of experience in brokerage, consulting, and management. Dan is an active member of the International Business Brokers Association and has worked with a number of corporate and individual clients toward achieving their acquisition or disposition objectives. With an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Dan understands what it takes to effectively market businesses in todays rapidly changing economic landscape. Combining past and present experience as a business owner, Dan has an intimate understanding of entrepreneurship. As a graduate from the Executive MBA program at Rockhurst University, Dan is skilled at sorting through the complex issues that can arise when facilitating a merger or acquisition.
Dan is actively involved in a number of civic activities with memberships in many of the area Chambers of Commerce, KCSourcelink, Kansas Womens Business Center (KWBC), Operation Breakthrough, and other local organizations designed to support businesses or families in the community. Dan's focus on relationships throughout his career has earned him a strong reputation for his commitment to a high level of business ethics, client service and professionalism.
As Vice President of the Convenience Store Division, Bob builds on over 15 years of experience as a business broker with ABMI. During his career with ABMI, Bob has helped hundreds of clients buy or sell their businesses. Bob has consistently been recognized as one of the top producers at ABMI throughout his career.
Prior to joining ABMI Bob was a senior executive for an international petroleum distributor. Seasoned in all types of businesses, Bob has become a specialist at selling convenience stores. Under Bob's direction the Convenience Store Division at ABMI has earned the reputation as a leader in the convenience store brokerage market.
Tim has over 25 years of management experience across a broad range of fields. He spent the early part of his career in retail and service related fields. Recent years found him holding multiple roles in a Fortune 100 firm which had operations around the globe. The breadth of Tim's work has enabled him to develop a broad background in business analysis and identification/development of strategies that position a business for success.
Tim's personal goal is to find ways to help people succeed, whether they are buying or selling a business or fine-tuning their business's strategies and operations. Tim's philosophy is to exceed the expectations of his clients. This approach has served him well in developing a reputation for service and professionalism and putting his client's success in the forefront while continuously challenging them to think and act outside of the box.
Tim completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri and has an MBA from Rockhurst University.

Dan has been a successful business broker at ABMI for over six years. Dan began his career as one of the top salespeople for the premier retail computer franchise in the country. Building on his successes, Dan went on to become a National Accounts Manager for Pitney-Bowes Corporation.
During his career, Dan has been highly successful in other key roles with companies such as Tallgrass Technologies and as National Sales Manager for Brooks Publishing. Dan maintains a strong commitment to customer services and strives to find the best possible match between buyer and seller.
As the top individual producer at ABMI in 2003, Jud has been with ABMI for over five years. Jud has extensive management experience in corporate America including eight years with Chrysler Corporation and 18 years as Vice President of Sales with the largest commercial chinaware manufacturer in the US, Syracuse China Corporation. In 1995, Jud and his family moved back to his hometown of Kansas City and bought a Dairy Queen. Seeing exciting financial results quickly convinced Jud to open two more.
Jud exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit and offers a refreshingly unique perspective from his personal experience managing the operations of his own business. His entry into the brokerage business happened by accident, and we are glad it did. His success in brokering at ABMI resulted in his decision to sell off his Dairy Queens to dedicate 100% of his time to buying and selling of businesses. Jud's successes are unequaled due to his strong understanding of the business world, both corporate and private businesses. His inter-relations with buyer and seller and understanding of their requirements are paramount.
Daniel has been bringing buyers and sellers together at ABMI for over 2 years. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from John Brown University with a B.A in Business Administration and Leadership & Management. His commitment to educational, occupational, and personal excellence is effectively combined with his commitment to building strong relationships. Daniel has been very happily married Gretchen for 2 years. A majority of his time outside of the office is spent with her and volunteering at their local church in various ministries, including leading worship.

Mark has been married for 13 years and has one daughter. Family is a major priority for Mark. Other activities include church functions, being a street rod enthusiast, and home improvement projects.
Marc's goal is to harness his 15 years of experience in financial analysis, brokerage, account management, and business ownership to help bring buyers and sellers together in a mutually beneficial relationship. By founding, operating, managing, and selling his own multi-location business, Marc has first hand knowledge of the challenges and rewards of owning and selling your own business. Having graduated from Baker University, Marc went on to obtain his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM ) designation in 1999. Marc and his wife Patti have been married for 14 years and have two amazing boys; Nigel (10) and Parker (7). When not coaching football, soccer or wrestling, participating in Cub Scouts or church activities, Marc and his family enjoying skiing, camping and working with the Salvation Army.
Bill gained 20 years experience in corporate America and bought his own small business before deciding to join the ABMI team.
Bill’s broad background in finance, marketing, business planning, regulatory and legal affairs allows him to view situations from many perspectives to focus on solving problems and finding ways to meet both seller and buyer expectations. With an undergraduate degree in Business Management and a KU MBA, Bill has the training and expertise to bring simple or complex transactions to a successful conclusion. Bill’s positive attitude, along with a commitment to building relationships, leads to results.
Kristi joined ABMI nearly 10 years ago as a business broker and quickly earned the firm’s record for bringing together a buyer and seller for the closing of a business transfer within 30 days. After spending the last few years traveling and exploring the world, Kristi has returned to her native Kansas City and to ABMI. Her unique talents in quantitative analysis combined with her strong client relationships prove her not only an able, but exceptional, broker in the ABMI family.
Kristi’s undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Missouri at Kansas City in Mathematics and graduate studies at the University of Virginia in Contract Management. She began her post-graduate career in Washington, DC negotiating and implementing $300 million in Department of Defense contracts. She earned the designation as a Certified Professional Contracts Manager in 1987 before transitioning into small businesses by founding and running a family-owned architectural business in 1995.
Kristi’s son, Chris (19) is a student in architecture at KU, and her son, Alex (17) and daughter, Lindsey (15) attend high school in the Lee’s Summit school district. She enjoys guiding them into adulthood with strong family and church-based values.
Todd comes to us from a private business group in the Kansas City area. His tenure as the Head Project Manager provided a varied background and included both direct and consulting experience in the areas of sales, management, business consulting, real estate, investment, business development, education, and training. Since his youth Todd has been involved in family businesses on both the personal and professional level and brings a unique perspective to ABMI. The variety and complexity of his past work projects led Todd to achieve licensing and certification in many areas, including engineering, real estate, insurance, and education/training.
Todd also headed the not-for-profit efforts of the group, including KChelp.org, a private help organization in the area. With a degree in education from Central Missouri State University, he has devoted much of his time in working with youth, especially in the areas of at-risk and alternative education.
Todd has three beautiful daughters, McKayla Anne, Mariah Jae, and Maxlyn Sage. The four of them are involved in many activities, including sports, music, church, and grandparents.
Rex joined ABMI Mergers & Acquisitions in 2007. Prior to joining ABMI, he worked for UMB Bank at their national headquarters. At UMB, Rex spent time in their Commercial Credit, Healthcare Services and Asset Management divisions. Both analytically-minded and people-oriented, he brings a diverse talent base to ABMI along with a strong work ethic. Rex works with senior members of the firm providing analytical support on middle-market transactions, as well as assisting in business development efforts.
Rex’s undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Kansas where he obtained a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance.
Rex devotes a lot of his time to his community and family. He is involved in numerous community activities, including church, professional organizations, and public-speaking clubs.
Chris has 20 years of experience in business ownership overseeing over 2,000 employees. His emphasis is on private or family-owned businesses. In 2008, Chris and ABMI joined forces to create a powerful combination focused on middle market companies valued from 10–500 Million. Chris’ emphasis is on quickly assessing the market position of an organization and determining the best course of action for the company. Using his experience from the London School of Economics and tracking most major periodicals and media, Chris projects the economic climate for his clients. He is also highly proficient in the due diligence process, forensic accounting, and financial reporting.
Chris has a Master’s in Organizational Psychology and has developed his own proprietary personality assessment system which he uses to maximize the efficiency of the human resources within an organization. Chris can recognize and implement the necessary operational adjustments required to prepare a company for a merger or acquisition.
Married, with three children, Chris enjoys his community in Prairie Village, Kansas and is most concerned about the direction of community development in our country. He is Chairman of HopeBUILDERS Home Repair, a 501 (c)(3) organization focused on helping vulnerable homeowners weather these turbulent economic times.
Joe Meagher has over 30 years in the Brokerage, Consulting and Management field. With an entrepreneurial background, he has worked with the national leaders in the Food and Beverage Industry, of hotels and restaurants. Working over 25 years in the Hotel and Restaurant Management industry, he’s managed many, as a General Manager, Director, President and Owner operator. The last five plus years he’s worked on Merger and Acquisition purchases and Buyer side search programs.
A BA degree in Business from The University of Missouri, KC in 1975, was the basis for his development in business. Joe owned, operated and sold his first business in 1992. This was his first awareness that selling a business was complicated and that you needed a professional to guide you on the right path to determine the sale price, marketing strategies closing agreements, etcetera.
As a Vietnam War Veteran he understands the importance of family, faith and country. Joe is a long time active member of Vietnam Veterans of America. He has worked with the Director of an after school program called, the Upper Room for several years. Joe has a passion for Softball, and has been playing on the same softball league for 27 years. He also enjoys golf and his golf partners meet at least once a week.
Joe has two beautiful daughters. Katie, 24 who is engaged to Ryan and Erinn, 27 who is married to Paul. Erinn and Paul have two children, Luke, 3½ and Krisalyn 1½. Joe came from a family of three brothers and four sisters and currently has 26 nephews and nieces.
